- It's really sad that so few people in the US make a serious effort (try hard) to learn a foreign language. Most students wait far too long to begin learning one - in most cases until the last few years of high school. It also saddens me that so many people feel that the mere presence of a foreign language in the country (often Spanish) is undesirable and/or unacceptable. Thanks for posting this! :)
