Caro invited me here. I think this is an excellent thing you are doing. What a great way to learn English!

Hi,
Yes I am new to this and SL. My name is Dianella Constantine and I decided to join because I want to learn more about SL and to learn Italian. I teach at a college and also studying for a degree in Adult Ed. There are many ESL students that I hope to help by learning more about how to communicate the English language to them to help them learn.
I am happy to be hear.

Hi Kip,
I have been here for a while, but I never introduced myself. I decided to join Teach You Teach Me because I am active in Second Life with the group Italianiamo. Anna Begonia is my instructor.
I have been studying Italian for the past 7 months or so, and I used to teach Spanish and ESL. So, I hope I can give back to the group as much as I have learned from Anna Begonia's group.
Cheers,
Jennifer
Hello! Greg Thomson here (Greg Tylman in SL) I am a consultant in RL, travel frequently for business. I visited Romania for the first time in 2007 and absolutely loved it. I have since made many friends there and they have helped me learn a little Romanian. Invat sa vorbesc Romaneste - I am learning to speak Romanian. I would like to continue to learn, but it is difficult here in the USA because I do not have anyone to practice with or to teach me.
I have used some CDs and the Google translation tools to learn as much as I can, but I have reached the limit with them. I was introduced to SL in a training class for online collaboration. Then I discovered Teach You Teach Me! I think this is a great idea! So if anyone is interested in trying to teach me Romanian I would be happy to help with English.
